A proper collaboration through and through. Hidden Mothers already had a sharp social media presence before unleashing this debut EP, and were playing impressive support slots across the UK to build up hype. I had a lot of fun working on this release, as the lads embraced this record with hard work and good humour. It’s always really special to see a band’s very first release land such a positive and wide impression.

Hidden Mothers are a newly formed post-hardcore/blackgaze quintet from Sheffield, UK, self described as “snow-screamo”. Following a succession of successful shows supporting the likes of Blanket, Inter Arma, Wren and Planes Mistaken For Stars, Hidden Mothers are set to unleash their debut self-titled EP which was recorded at No Studio by Joe Clayton (Pijn, Leeched) and mastered by Scott Middleton (Cancer Bats).
