Running at a total of 16 minutes in length, Screamers is an abstraction of the approaches found in hardcore punk, grindcore and powerviolence, fused with the loud and abrasive qualities of noise rock, industrial, and the avant-garde. Why Patterns successfully revel in a deranged deconstruction of the speed and intensity found in fast and loud music. No less exhilarating, the London based trio fuel their maniacal rage, fuzzed out riffs and breakneck rhythms with spells of freely improvised vocals, stream of consciousness lyricism, and non-linear song structures played in constant freefall.
