After twelve years of creating boundary pushing metal, Bristol based sludge trio TORPOR have announced they are laying the band to rest. But not before one last UK tour this November. TORPOR leave behind three beloved studio albums; concluding with their powerful masterwork Abscission. This final UK tour will end a triumphant last year for TORPOR after conquering Roadburn, Doomlines and ArcTanGent festivals.
“We always knew Abscission would be our last record, so this announcement has been a long time coming. We love making music together, but Jon no longer wants to be in a touring band so we must lay TORPOR to rest. Our twelve years together have taken us on a wonderful journey, and we’re really looking forward to celebrating with you all before we say goodbye!”
