Friday morning at Fernhill Farm in Bristol. A horde of heavy and experimental music obsessives are at the exact midpoint of their annual Bristol pilgrimage to ArcTanGent Festival. Many are tired, hungover, and just finishing up their coffee and bacon sarnies. But their hunger for more incredible music does not allow lie-ins. London based noisy-sludgy-posty-hardcore duo MODERN TECHNOLOGY provide the ultimate wake up call to fire up those synapses once more.
The Bixler tent is packed at 11:35am as the noisiest animals on the farm deliver their morning sermon – a lesson in fearsome sonic chaos, wild energy, fuzzed out bass, pummelling drums, and commanding bellows. Modern Technology are in their absolute element at ArcTanGent.
