One of the UK’s favourite underground DIY festivals is Strange Forms, held at Leeds’ legendary Brudenell Social Club. For a number of years, promoter team Bad Owl Presents have pulled together many of the UK’s finest and freshest post-rock, leftfield metal, post-hardcore, shoegaze, emo and math-rock artists across one fantastic Spring weekend.

This year’s festival boasted one of the finest line-ups yet, headlined by Employed To Serve and Delta Sleep. Din Of Celestial Birds played one of the most talked about sets for the Saturday early birds. Their blistering performance was one of many stand-outs alongside the likes of CLT DRP, Pleiades, Dystopian Future Movies, False Advertising, Gallops and French blackgaze heroes Fall Of Messiah, among many more great acts.
