Post-sludge and metalcore influenced quartet URZAH have released the first single and opening song ‘I, Empyrean’ from their forthcoming debut album, THE SCORCHING GAZE, to be released through APF Records on May 3rd. The kaleidoscopic music video was directed by Urzah’s vocalist and guitarist Ed Fairman.

Album pre-orders have launched now at APF Records official website and Bandcamp store. The Scorching Gaze will be available on CD, Cassette Tape and Digital from May 3rd with T-shirt bundles also available.

The Scorching Gaze will contain 9 new tracks and has been produced and engineered by Phoxjaw guitarist Josh Gallop at his own Stage 2 Studios in Bath, with fiery artwork illustrated by Indonesian gig poster and album cover illustrator Putra Satria Nugraha.
